CJC-1295 without DAC is a 29-residue synthetic C-terminally amidated polypeptide corresponding to the 1-29 fragment of human growth hormone-releasing hormone. It carries four substitutions relative to the native fragment: D-alanine at position 2, glutamine at position 8, alanine at position 15 and leucine at position 27. The leucine substitution at position 27 removes the methionine residue of the native sequence, so the molecule contains no sulfur.
The molecular target is the growth hormone-releasing hormone receptor (GHRHR), a class B secretin- family G-protein-coupled receptor. Occupancy is quantified in recombinant GHRHR-expressing cell lines by competition displacement of a labelled reference ligand, yielding Ki and IC50 values. Functional coupling is recorded in the same transfected systems as cAMP accumulation. Reported values are properties of the specific construct, cell line, buffer and detection chemistry used and are not transferable between assay formats.

Primary literature on GHRH(1-29) analogue chemistry, substitution effects on peptidase susceptibility, and class B GPCR binding methodology is indexed in PubMed; structural and identity records are catalogued in PubChem. Search results and cited literature do not establish the performance of a commercial lot or a use recommendation.
It is supplied for laboratory research and analytical work only and is not intended for human or veterinary use.
Unopened vial: store sealed, dry, and protected from light at controlled room temperature or refrigerated. After opening or reconstitution: keep refrigerated at 2–8 °C.
The per-lot COA reports the HPLC purity result, the measured peptide content, the mass confirmation for the lot, the testing laboratory and the test date. These are lot-specific analytical measurements and should not be treated as permanent values for every lot.
